Job Description
1. To process Trade related applications/documents within laid down procedures complying internal policies, local regulatory requirement, Intl rules, prohibitions & sanctions and to meet service standards.
2. To investigate records/files in order to establish or clarify facts required to
progress queries raised internally and externally related to trade transactions.
3. To undertake specialised technical duties related to Trade Services.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Process Trade Services transactions as per DOI/Trade Policy/Country Exchange Control Regulation /Import and Export Policy and other internal policies/Guidelines of the bank.
Liaise with trade services customers and resolve queries/problems
Maintain and update all records related to the trade services.
Deliver products within the set time frame and as per SLA.
Prepare customer positions for approval processes.
Verify signatures upon customer applications, as per their mandate.
Conduct investigation to rectify errors or to establish/clarify facts.
Prepare/collect information / statistical data for internal and external Relationship.
Deal with customers/counterparts in other banks to solution to routine queries or problems.
Correspond with customers and other internal / external contacts upon matters of routine nature.
Identify risks in day to day operations and bring it to the attention of management.
Provide technical guidance to customers when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
2-3 years of Trade Services general operational knowledge.
University degree.
Thorough understanding of Group Policies, ICC rules, local laws, legal risks, sanctions & prohibitions
Knowledge of Trade documentation and shipping terms.
Minimum 3 years all circular banking experience.
Knowledge of the Banks laid down procedures.
Sound hold upon MS Office applications.
