Job Description:
The wide objective of the recruitment of the project manager is to accomplish the following goals through implementation of a new core banking software at UCB:
Understand and help implement various Business Process Re-engineering initiatives suggested by Business to improve efficiency of work processes
Compilation of an operating Manual that documents all processes
Successful migration to FLEXCUBE UBS from Bank's current system
Develop training materials and tools as required
Development of Risk Control and Monitoring Mechanisms
Educational Qualification:
Graduate from a reputed School of Technology or Business School
Work Experience:
7 years experience in Core Banking Project Implementation - at least 2 in Project Manager role., Experience of FLEXCUBE Implementation will be an added advantage
Job Requirement:
In order to achieve the stated objectives, the consultant will work with the project team of the Bank. The Project Manager shall perform the assigned responsibilities detailed under:
Manage the Change Management & Transformation of the Project
Review existing processes and recommend / incorporate necessary improvement in the existing processes for work efficiency.
Obtain stakeholders agreement and document new processes preparation
Oversee preparation of Operational Instruction Manual that documents all process of the Banks.
Supervise Data Conversion from existing system to new system.
Ensure parameterization in the new system to meets the required process needs.
Plan and document the UAT (User Acceptance Test) Criteria.
Participate in the UAT and recommend required parameterization and customization.
Participate in planning the PILOT Branch rollout strategy
Participate in the user training and co-ordinate the development of training plan/materials.
Identify the place of business operation requiring immediate Centralization and co-ordinate the necessary preparatory and related works prior to the centralization work.
Develop process manual for Centralized Processing as required by the Bank,
Establish valuable risk control and monitoring mechanism for relevant business operations
Vendor Negotiations and Vendor Management of the Project
Over-every concept of surround hardware and environmental software required to run a Core banking software.
Capability to lead people involved in the projects and others key stakeholders.
Proficiency in planning & time management in deliverables
Strong command in budget & budgetary control
