The Finance Officer-Accounts Payable and Bank is responsible for ensuring the adequate funds are available in al accounts and that all payment to staff, suppliers and partners are made on time, complying with all financial policies, control mechanisms and taxation rules and ensuring efficient and timely consolidation of monthly head office and field based financial data from all offices, transparent consolidation and proper financial legal compliance for the organization.

Job Description:
To ensure that all staff understand the payment procedures, services and compliance, timing, templates and required documentation and are confident about respective responsibilities in finance.
To ensure adequate funds are available in all accounts for head office, field offices and partners and professional management of all bank accounts of the organisation, includes mandates signatories and other legal formalities to withhold serene implementation of programme activities.
To ensure efficient and timely consolidation of monthly head office and filed based financial data and timely posting to the accounting system based on authorised documentary supporting evidence.
To ensure that legal issue is adequately addressed from financial perspective.
To ensure effective and efficient provision of financial and administrative hold, services and resources for serene running of the offices, programmes and houses in a cost effective manner
As a member of the Emergency Team, to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellence within Concerns work is captured, promoted and disseminated, and to ensure advocacy and M&E are addressed within the project framework
Contribute to the process of implementing quality programmes by ensure that the HAP standard of accountability is conceptualized and effectively implemented throughout the organization, and at the country programme level.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelors Degree (preferably in Commerce).

Job Requirement:
At least have 04 years INGO work experience in financial management within an international development organisation/NGO.
Knowledge of current relevant taxation laws
Excellent understanding of internal control processes.
Good understanding of Bangladesh banking system.
Salary: Salary will be offered based on candidates qualification and experience.
