Job Description:
To ensure emergency responses are delivered timey and efficiently to alleviate suffering in humanitarian situations
To ensure the effective implementation of the project activities with maximum efficiency and professionalism
To ensure a transparent procurement process for ensuring critical resources for the project are utilised effectively to implement project activities with high quality.
As a member of the Emergency Team, to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellence within Concerns work is captured, promoted and disseminated, and to ensure advocacy and M&E are addressed within the project framework
To lead the Emergency Response Team in a manner that empowers them to deliver sustainable changes to the lives of the poor in Bangladesh.
Contribute to the process of implementing quality programmes by ensure that the HAP standard of accountability is conceptualized and effectively implemented throughout the organization, and at the country programme level.

Educational Qualification:
Masters degree in relevant field.
Work Experience:
4-6
Job Requirement:
At least have 06 years INGO work experience in the mid- level positions of which at least 4 years progressively responsible professional work experience in emergency response programmes, including participatory planning, monitoring, and evaluation, within an international development organisation/NGO.
Experience of managing at least 3 major disaster responses (ECHO/DFID) and of working in remote areas in emergency situations.
Experience in participatory programme planning, management, implementation, monitoring would be an advantage.
Theoretical knowledge of the principles and practices of DRR, Climate Change and Emergency
Response, including HAP and SPHERE standards would be an advantage.
Experience in working through partners (NGO/GO).
Salary: Taka 78,887/- per month with other regular benefits (negotiable for highly competent candidates)
